Exam Structure
Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper OMR sheet).
Duration: 3 hours.
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
Questions: 180 multiple-choice questions.
Total Marks: 720 marks.

Eligibility Criteria
Education: Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General category (lower for reserved categories).
Age: Minimum 17 years old; no upper age limit.
Registration Process
The NEET registration process is conducted entirely online through the official National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET portal. The application process follows a strict 4-step sequence.
Step 1: Online Registration
Visit the official NTA NEET website and click on "New Registration".
Provide basic information including your name, parents' names, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
Generate a secure password and submit the details.
Complete the OTP verification sent to your registered mobile number and email to generate your unique Application Number.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
Log in using your newly generated Application Number and password.
Fill in your personal details, choice of exam medium (language), and 4 preferred exam cities.
Input your academic qualification codes and marks for Class 10 and Class 12.
Step 3: Uploading Scanned Document
You must upload clear, scanned copies of the following documents strictly within NTA's size limits:
Passport-size photograph (white background, facing straight).
Postcard-size photograph (4"x6").
Signature (running handwriting on white paper).
Left & Right-hand finger and thumb impressions.
Class 10 Passing Certificate and Class 12 Marksheet.
Category / PwD Certificate (if applicable).
Citizenship Certificate / Passport (for NRI/OCI/Foreign national candidates).
