Moment of inertia of the smaller sphere $I_1 = \frac{2}{5} M_1 r^2 = \frac{2}{5} (M/8) (R/2)^2 = \frac{2}{5} \frac{M}{8} \frac{R^2}{4} = \frac{M R^2}{80}$. Larger part mass $M_2 = M - M/8 = 7M/8$.
